Party Hardy™ Shrub Rose

Party Hardy™ Shrub Rose

Bred in Canada, this rose earned the "Hardy" part of its name by adapting so well to the harsh winters there that it actually prefers cold climates. As for the "Party" portion, attribute that to this plant's large clusters of old-fashioned, brightly colored blooms that seem to arrive as frequently as guests at a huge New Year's Eve blowout. More than 40 petals fill each big, 4" bloom, while the dark, ample foliage fills this shrubby plant from top to bottom. Flowers are lightly fragrant, smelling somewhat like apples, and terrific for cutting. Moderately salt tolerant. Rosa 'DARcanard' PP21449
