Melody Allegro has petals that are orange, pink, salmon, and even tones of lilac, sometimes all at once. Gardeners who have planted this waterlily-type dahlia are always surprised by the range of colors on one plant. The compact plant produces larger, 4-5" decorative, almost round flowers, with petals that have a water-colored look. The sturdy plant is freely branching and produces lots of flowers from early summer until the first frost.
